Granite Falls, WA, January 2008
- The City of Granite Falls was incorporated in 1903. Part of the charm of
this community is its turn-of-the-century architecture, unique local shops and
eateries, and western foothills atmosphere.
Granite Falls is named for the thundering waterfalls cut into
solid granite by the nearby Stillaguamish
River. It has easy access
to the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and is a focus for outdoor
adventure-seekers. Railroad Days, the first week in October, is a popular event.
The City of Granite Falls purchased
the core BIAS Software system: BARSFund, Utility Billing, Payroll, and Cash
Receipting after thoroughly researching all BARS-compliant software options.
Lotta Hines, Clerk/Treasurer, called BIAS Clients who praised the user-friendly
software and BIAS Technical team. She is impressed with her options for system
support; either online or by phone. BIAS Accounting Software will begin
implementation in early January 2008.
