Cathlamet,
WA - Twenty miles west of Longview, WA, bordering the Columbia
River, you will find the Town of Cathlamet. It was established as a trading
post in 1846 and incorporated in 1907. They celebrated their 100th
birthday this year. The docks are used by small fishing companies, tugboat
operations and recreational boaters. Cathlamet’s picturesque quality attracts
tourists looking to step back in time.
The Town of Cathlamet was familiar with BIAS Software because of word-of-mouth
from existing BIAS Clients. The Town of Cathlamet bought the core BIAS Software
system: BARSFund©, Utility Billing, Payroll, and Cash Receipting.
After signing their contract October 22, 2007, the BIAS Software implementation
began in early November 2007. The Finance Department of the Town of Cathlamet made the determination to purchase BIAS Software because of the responsive service offered and extensive variations of reports available. State of the art reports would be generated with real time data to assist Town officials with making viable financial decisions.
