Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency, Spokane, WA, July 1, 2008 BIAS Accounting is pleased to announce that the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency signed their contract July 1, 2008; the beginning of their 2009 fiscal year. They are the first WA State Clean Air Agency to become a BIAS Client.

Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency ensures people have clean air to breathe. They do this by encouraging individuals to make clean air choices and by enforcing federal and local air quality laws. When they began in 1969, the commercial sector created the most air pollution. New equipment and improved operations dramatically reduced air pollution from businesses and industries.

Today, most air pollution comes from our everyday activities. Over half comes from our vehicles, with indoor and outdoor burning and gasoline-powered yard and recreational equipment adding to the problem.

In their work to deliver clean air, Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency is committed to using its resources wisely and efficiently. They focus their resources on efforts that are cost effective and provide the greatest air quality benefit.

Barb Nelson, Administrative Services Officer, is a 19-year employee. She purchased BIAS Accounting Software because it is BARS-integrated. Barb is impressed that BIAS has a CPA on staff, David Calechman, and our staffs knowledge. Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency purchased BARSFund^©, Grant Management, Cash Receipting, and Payroll w/ Time Cards modules.
